The 2400 SK-1 is a low maintenance, multipurpose rig that offers drilling versatility. It is available with a high torque or high speed drillhead, cathead, winch hoist, angle drilling and gas or diesel deck engine. This dependable drill is ideal for basic geotechnical and environmental drilling, (soil sampling, shallow monitoring wells), construction drilling, (cathodic protection, pre-bid investigations) and many other uses. The SIMCO®  255 PTC was designed to provide precise drilling control and accuracy for drilling 2” to 18” diameter cores in concrete and asphalt for testing purposes, potholing and key holing. This rig is available with either right hand or left hand controls.

The adjustable speed, hydraulic top head with direct reading tachometer allows you to set the rotary speed control to match the size of the core barrel and type of material being drilled – including re-bar. Adjustable core barrel guides holds the barrel steady. This allows for precise cores with less wear and tear on the bit. This compact self contained rig can be easily mounted on a ¾ ton or larger pickup, flat bed or on a tandem axle trailer with a built-in stainless steel 200 gallon water tank.
